Trump's post-inaugural performance is somewhat gratifying to those who feared the worst, and greatly disappointing to many of his "base" who expected him to honor his campaign promises with more than mainly ineffective Executive Orders. This well-earned administrative dysfunction may give many of us the opportunity for a merciful intervention with family and friends who can't extricate themselves from this sinking ship.
