We Americans have been on a collision course with many inconvenient truths, and I see the month of August as the perfect storm to focus on our cumulative challenges and solutions. We can accomplish a lot by focusing on our pandemic response, and our dependence on healthier politics and a more responsive governance to deal with a multiple of issues.
